German Club

The GILS German Club

The GILS German Club allows learners to practice their German in an informal environment outside the classroom. German Club activities include film nights, in which popular or educational German-language films provide the basis for discussion, book discussions, and a game nights, allowing learners to increase their language skills while laughing over the friendly competition. The highlight of German Club activities are the Club’s business seminars, in which a leading area businessperson is invited to give a talk and answer the audience’s questions, followed by a debate.
